Can I Switch Between an In-Home and a Walk-In Blood Draw?

 

Switching from In-Home to Walk-In: Yes, for most locations, if you originally scheduled an in-home appointment but would prefer the convenience of a walk-in blood draw with one of our lab partners, you may make this change directly through your Lifeforce member portal.

 

Switching from Walk-In to In-Home: If you would like to switch from a walk-in appointment to an in-home order, please contact our Diagnostic Support team. They will review your eligibility and provide guidance on next steps, as in-home availability may vary by location.

 

Switching from an in-home to a walk-in

1. Log in to your Lifeforce portal.

    1. Access your account using your username and password.

2. Locate your active in-home order under "Upcoming Blood Draw."

3. Click on "Reschedule"

4. Follow the prompts for "Reschedule Your Blood Draw"

  • 1st prompt: Confirm Your Information is correct then click next image.png
  • 2nd prompt: "Location of Blood Draw" select "Quest Diagnostics" to choose a walk-in Option

  • On the 3rd prompt "Schedule" review/confirm your information and select Confirm if no changes are needed.

5. Navigate back to your Dashboard to download and print your walk-in requisition

  • Your dashboard will reflect your updated walk-in blood draw

  • To view your nearest Quest Diagnostics for a walk-in blood draw See nearby locations.
  • You will also receive a text and email confirming your walk-in order has been created and next steps.

Contact our diagnostic support if you experience any issues or have questions regarding eligibility or need assistance switching to your preferred method of blood draw.

If you do not see the option to switch to a Quest Diagnostic (walk-in), your state may not be eligible at this time. Please contact our diagnostic support team for additional assistance as some restrictions may apply. 

 

State and Coverage Area Considerations

Walk-in blood draw services are not available everywhere.

For instance, Lifeforce only offers in-home blood draws for NY, NJ, RI residents and walk-in blood draws are unavailable at this time.

Switching from a walk-in to an in-home order

Members are not able to convert a walk-in order to an in-home order through the online portal. To request this change, please contact our Diagnostic Support team for assistance.

While we are rapidly expanding our service area, some members may not be eligible for in-home services at this time.
