Once you have confirmed you have an active walk-in diagnostic order in your Lifeforce portal, you're ready to proceed with completing your walk-in blood draw.
Most Quest locations accept walk-ins without an appointment. However, we encourage you to check your preferred site and book an appointment to make your visit as smooth and convenient as possible.
Quest Walk-In Options
-
No Appointment Needed
- You do not need to make an appointment at the lab before walking in. Walk-ins are welcome, so you can go to your nearest Quest Lab location at your convenience.
- Check the specific location details, as some restrictions may apply.
-
Making an Appointment
- For a more concrete time, you can make a reservation via our lab partner's website. This ensures you have a scheduled slot and can minimize waiting time.
-
While scheduling online, you will be asked a number of questions. We recommend answering with the following:
- Reason for your visit: All Other Tests
- Insurance information: "Provide later" or "The person being tested doesn't have insurance." Please note that your test is already paid for by Lifeforce, and you will not need to provide payment or insurance.
- If asked if the draw was ordered by a specific physician, you can answer yes.
Preparation for Your Visit
-
Fasting
- You will need to fast, as well as not consume alcohol, aspirin, or vitamin B3, for 10 hours before your appointment. Feel free to take any other daily supplements and drink plenty of water, as hydrated veins support a seamless draw.
- Heavy Metals Panel: Avoid seafood and red wine 72 hours before blood draw.
- Brain Protection Panel: Avoid biotin supplements for 72 hours before blood draw.
-
For any blood draw that includes one or more advanced panels, please hydrate well in advance of your appointment, as 8-15 tubes will be drawn.
